SETTING: THE CITY OF ZLORE
The capital city of Zlore (pronounced lore), country of Zhale (pronounced hale) is where our story begins. This fantastical city is known for its life sized toys, made with a combination of pure magic and alchemy. The toys working as friends and colleagues to the humans there, living in harmony for quite some time.The city itself is a colorful explosion, a fantasy city from a children's coloring book. Even the castle has a multitude of colors across its bricks.
THE CREATORS: ROYALTY
Formally the Hart Family ruled the country of Zhale, but as the reliance on the life sized toys grew, so did the popularity of their creators. In particular, a Toymaker and Alchemist by the name of Boris Einar lead a campaign to change the royal and social scene of the country. He also wished to change the toy citizen market, as he wished for the toys to have more purpose than just civil servants or friends. He wanted armies, he wanted scientists, he wanted immortals who were far superior to man in every way.Thanks to his radical views, he was later defamed and discarded in the public eye. But this didn't stop him from achieving his goals.
THE CONFLICT: WAR
Thinking toys were better than humans anyways, Boris Einar secretly made a toy army to take over the city with. With the help of his magically gifted daughter, Angelina Einar , he was able to build the army of toys at a fast pace and have them more powerful than any other toys created so far.He won his campaign easily, as it caught everyone by surprise. He was able to take over the city with his daughter at his side. But eventually his daughter betrayed him and took over leading the town - it becoming a literal toybox where there was more toys than humans.Angelina didn't care much for the humans and forced them underground in the capital city, and the toys quickly started to take over other parts of the country - while she hasn't achieved complete control yet, she does control most of the country of Zhale.
THE SOLUTION: REBEL
A former captain in Angelina's army, Eight Knights - aka Toy Soldier Model 8K-025 - was discarded after his line of toys was deemed outdated.He's unsure how long its been, but when he came to after being shut down at the Princess's order - he was in a human rebellion camp. They were recruiting toys who had been discarded and offered him a position in their ranks. In particular, a young girl by the name of Roise Lee was the one to save him and ask him to join. Wanting to help Roise and save his brethren from suffering the same fate as him, Eight joined the rebellion.
